In Islam, Waqf (وقف) is a charitable endowment dedicated for the sake of Allah, with the intention of providing lasting benefit to people and communities in need.

Waqf is closely associated with Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity) because its rewards can continue even after the donor has passed away. The Prophet ﷺ taught that when a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three, including ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah).

If you fund the full cost of a Waqf project, you can contact us with the name and message you would like displayed on the project's permanent plaque, subject to suitability and local requirements. Once your Waqf is completed, we aim to provide you with photographs and video documentation of the completed project, so you can see the impact of your donation.

Accountability Beyond Completion

Our responsibility does not end when a project is completed. Where practical and possible, our team conducts international monitoring visits to our Waqf projects to verify that projects have been completed as expected, assess their continued use and benefit, and identify any issues requiring attention.

We document these visits through photos and videos and share updates through our WhatsApp channel, giving our donors greater visibility of the projects they have helped make possible.
